Visa and Nokia will together deliver Visa payment and payment-related services which includes contactless payments, remote payments, money transfer, alerts and notifications. It will be available on Nokia next generation handsets beginning with the Nokia 6212 classic starting October 2008.
Initially, the Visa applications will be made available for trial use to interested financial institutions and the consumers owning Nokia 6212 classic and a relationship with a participating Visa issuing bank.
