Virgin Mobile to exclusively release Silver HTC Wildfire S in U.S.

 Virgin Mobile HTC Wildfire S Smartphone Later this month, Virgin Mobile is expected to release the HTC Wildfire S in the United States, without any contract barriers. This will be the first HTC smartphone to be released through this network carrier.

This HTC smartphone from Virgin Mobile will be made available in two classy, chic shades of white and silver. The silver variant is being released exclusively from Virgin Mobile. Along with the Android Gingerbread operating system, this handset brings into utility the HTC Sense as well.

“The HTC Wildfire S is the first HTC smartphone on Virgin Mobile and we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring the Wildfire S to our customers,” said Mark Lederman, Business Line director, Virgin Mobile USA. “It is an attractive, easy-to-use and fast smartphone perfect for both the technically savvy and those looking to make the leap to a smartphone for the first time.”

Other features of this device include a 5MP camera with flash, 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen and a 600MHz processor to manage its functions. It also offers connectivity options of 3G and Wi-Fi. Pre-loaded with the Virgin Mobile Live 2.0 application, it provides access to music stream branded by the network carrier and also live music performance videos and check in features at special events.

The white hued HTC Wildfire S from Virgin Mobile will be available at RadioShack while the silver variant can be picked from Best Buy starting October 23. It can be purchased for a price of $199.99.
