Adding to the burgeoning slate market are the freshly unveiled ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi and ViewPad 10e tablets. Besides these two devices, the company also disclosed its new dual SIM mobile phone, the ViewPhone 3.

The ViewPad 10pi is a dual OS device featuring Android 2.3 as well as Windows 7 Professional. Operating on the Intel Oak Trail z670 processor, it employs the ViewScene user interface powered by Thinix Touch. The tablet comes integrated with two cameras and boasts of an IPS 1280 x 800p display panel.

Jeff Volpe, president for ViewSonic Americas, explained, “2011 was a strong year for our mobile product family, as we debuted new tablets to fit various budgets and audiences. We’re hitting the New Year strong with the introduction of new tablet innovations and our first Latin America smartphone.”

Equipped with a 10-inch multi-viewing IPS display, the ViewPad 10e also runs on the Android Gingerbread OS and is fueled by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor. Offering over 200 hours of standby time, it lets users watch content in 3D owing to the integrated ViewScene 3D customized interface.

The dual SIM ViewPhone 3 is compatible with GSM, EDGE and HSDPA networks. Sporting a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, it is powered by an ARM 800MHz processor and comes incorporated with Android 2.3.

The ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi and ViewPad 10e prices are $849 and $299, respectively and they will be available in the U.S. by the end of this month. The ViewPhone 3 would be retailing for an estimated selling price of $279 from the end of this year’s first quarter.
