Matrix Logic has launched a new application for the iPhone known as the WirelessDMS iPhone Client. The new application allows iPhone users to remotely access business papers on their Open Text eDOCs ECM solution.
On downloading the application onto the iPhone, it utilizes the network connection with a WirelessDMS iPhone Server module that can be installed and purchased. Taking complete advantage of the iPhone’s touchscreen functionality, you can use several features like Recent Edits, scaling and Quicksearches.
“As far as I know, this is the only application of its kind for any document management system,” says Stephen Page, President of Matrix Logic. “Its development is part of our commitment to enabling users’ access to crucial information anytime, anywhere.”
“Now, if you’re out of the office when a client calls with questions about a proposal that’s on your office server, you can use your iPhone to search for the file and view the text as you discuss it,” adds Stephen Page “You don’t have to rely on your memory, wait until you’re back in the office, or find a wireless network in order to log into your office system from your laptop.”
