Videocon flaunts four new handsets

Videocon’s first Android device sprouted up a little while back with a dazzling touchscreen. The company has also introduced four new handsets namely, V1410, V1603, V1475 and V1606. Each one of these has something different to offer handset owners all over India. For starters, the V1410 embeds a laser torch within its two tone form factor.

This phone comes in a vibrant range of Green/White, Orange/Black and Blue/Black. Featuring a VGA camera with video recorder, users can view movies with the video player that supports MP4/3GP/AVI formats. Flaunting a 1.8” 65K Color TFT display, it is loaded with MP3 player and FM Radio. This Bluetooth enabled device can save up 1000 phonebook contacts and 500 messages. Supporting two SIM cards and Dual Standby, it is powered with a 1000 mAH battery offering 360 hour stand-by time coupled with 360 minute talk time.

On the other hand, the V1603 comes with dual battery and a toggle key which helps users swap between an external and internal one. It proffers dual T flash coupled with an external hot swappable micro SD card. The two memory card slots support an expandable memory of 4GB each. Sporting a 2MP camera, the handset is fitted with a 2.4” screen. The overall battery life offers 250+50 hours of standby time and a talk time of 4+1 hours.

The V1606 a multimedia centric Dual SIM Dual Standby (GSM + GSM) handset, fashions a 2MP HD camera with AVI video recording. The mobile phone is outfitted with a 6cm TFT screen and dual speakers. It packs in common attributes like FM radio on loud speaker, 3GP/MP4 video playback and a MP3 player with dedicated music keys. Featuring an expandable memory of up to 4GB, the handset is capable of saving 1000 contacts and messages. It works on dual band GSM 900/1800.

The V1475 has been dressed up with a QWERTY keypad and is offered in 4 trendy shades. With a 2” TFT display, it boasts of a VGA Camera with video recording. Sporting an MP3 Player and FM radio with the ability to record, this Bluetooth enabled phone is preloaded with social networking apps. It supports an expandable memory of up to 4GB.

The pricing and availability details of all four Videocon handsets are ambiguous.
