In order to highlight the Vertu key, the button has been made of ruby.
Making an effort to keep pace with other evolving smartphones, the company has introduced this phone with the Ice Cream Sandwich platform. It is driven by a dual core 1.7GHz processor which receives assistance from 1GB of RAM. Users can indulge their hoarding needs with an ample storage space of 64GB. There is however no reference of any provision being made for expanding the memory. Prospective customers should find the 1250mAh battery capacity quite satisfactory as it would provide a talktime of up to 7.2 hours or a standby time of around 200 hours.
Attempting to cover all bases, the maker has incorporated an 8MP lens on the rear that comes equipped with features like autofocus, dual LED flash and 1080p footage recording. While the Black Leather will be sold for the aforementioned amount, Engadget reports that the Pure Black can be procured for $11,500. The Black Alligator and the Black PVD variants can be obtained for $12,800 and $19,900, respectively.
