Verizon Wireless intros Motorola Barrage

Verizon Wireless Motorola Barrage Few days back Motorola had introduced a rugged handset r765IS and now the mobile phone manufacturer along with Verizon Wireless has unveiled the sturdy Motorola Barrage.

This rugged device can sustain one meter of water immersion for around 30 minutes. The Barrage is made from chrome, glass, mesh and rubber, guarding it from blowing rain, humidity, solar radiation, high and low temperatures, blowing dust, salt fog, altitude, shock, vibration and transit drop. Further, the handset features Push to Talk capability enabling quick conversations.

The flip phone is equipped with 1170mAH battery that offers extended talktime. The rugged device sports a 2 megapixel camera, camcorder and dual speakers for high quality audio. The handset is inclusive of premium services from Verizon Wireless like VZ NavigatorSM, V CAST Music with Rhapsody and V CAST Video on Demand.

The Motorola Barrage is offered online via Verizon Wireless website and in business sales channels for $129.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Verizon Wireless Communications Stores will retail it from November 16. The network carrier will also offer a non-camera version of the handset beginning October 21. The rebate will be received in the form of a debit card.
