BlackBerry Curve 8520 heads to Singapore via RIM

RIM BlackBerry Curve In the Asian subcontinent, RIM had earlier introduced the BlackBerry Curve 8520 in India and finally it has reached Singapore.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone presents an innovative touch-sensitive trackpad that offers an amazing navigation experience. With the dedicated media keys, accessing music and videos has now become effortless. The QWERTY handset facilitates users to access email, messaging (IM, SMS, MMS) and popular social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.

The Curve 8520 is equipped with a powerful 512Mhz processor and 256MB flash memory. The smartphone sports a 2 megapixel digital camera with zoom and video recording, a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack along with BlackBerry Media Sync that enables users to sync music from iTunes or Windows Media Player with the smartphone. The quad-band handset features Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) for faster browsing and extended data coverage.

The BlackBerry device is inclusive of BlackBerry Internet Service support that offers access to around 10 supported email accounts including Yahoo!, Windows Live, Hotmail, AOL and Gmail along with BlackBerry Enterprise Server support that offers advanced security and IT administration features.

Apparently, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8520 will be made available from M1, SingTel and StarHub by the end of October for an unknown price.
