Verizon hurrying up LTE 4G for Apple device?

Apple Tablet Gizmodo reports that apparently Verizon is putting in all its efforts so that it’s LTE 4G service will be ready for several markets in time for Q1 2010. Reportedly, the Verizon iPhone and Apple Tablet are both rumored to launch around this time.

Previously it was heard that Verizon was going to launch the Long Term Evolution (LTE) 4G network in the second half of 2010. However, it is now rumored that the release date has been pushed up to Q1.

Both Verizon and AT&T will apparently be shifting to Long Term Evolution technology. Therefore, Apple is saved the trouble of having to develop separate devices for both the networks. Apple would have to manufacture a separate CDMA device exclusively for Verizon.

Additionally, data-only plans are apparently going to be created for this supposed Apple/ Verizon tablet. However, it would be excluding whatever exclusivity AT&T shares with the iPhone.
