The company has now rolled out FiOS TV Visual 411 Widget which will enable viewers to send business listings directly to text message-enabled Verizon Wireless mobile devices. The flexible choices, wide TV screen and high-quality visuals make the experience entertaining and engaging.
Apart from this, sending business listings to customers who subscribe to VZ Navigator will offer immediate access to turn-by-turn directions to the business from wherever the customers are. The convenience levels are augmented with the FiOS TV remote control since users can seamlessly access the Visual 411 Widget and navigate through the menu to perform a business-category search.
Besides, an on-screen virtual keyboard is available for users who prefer to type in a business name or keyword. What’s more, owners can search businesses anywhere in the country, alter locations and pull up recent searches.

After a search is carried out and a listing is selected, users can easily send that specific listing data to a handset as an SMS text or to the VZ Navigator app. The viewer will receive a confirmation that the data has been sent to a particular phone number. The app also highlights a location map with zoom-in and zoom-out capabilities. This feature will help users locate cross streets and other landmarks.
Moreover, FiOS TV viewers can use the Visual 411 Widget capabilities to store locations they need to visit or have them ready whenever required as either a text message or VZ Navigator turn-by-turn locations. Users can watch their show without any interruption while using the app.
Users will need to go to the FiOS TV widgets homescreen, scroll down to the News and Info section and select Visual 411 to access the widget with utmost ease. FiOS TV rolls out a wide collection of programming, with over 520 all-digital channels, 140 HD channels and more than 18,000 monthly video-on-demand titles. Additionally, FiOS offers next-generation interactive services like an advanced interactive media guide, social TV, news and entertainment widgets, remote DVR management and multi-room DVR.
