Verizon adds more to its NFL mobile app

Verizon NFL Mobile

Introduced last year, the Verizon NFL mobile app will now broadcast live Monday nights, NFL RedZone on Sunday Afternoons, and Live NFL Network. Before this development, the app streamed live NFL Games on Thursday and Sunday.

Verizon customers using the NFL mobile app can have access to on demand NFL Films content and live audio broadcasts of Super Bowl and several other regular and post season games. Some of these games are also available in Spanish. With fantasy football tracker, fans are directly connected to the NFL fantasy football game.

Apart from this, users receive the latest information, news, schedules, scores from all over the league, and can view videos of game day whenever they want. Fans of any particular team can also ask to receive daily text alerts about it, with NFL highlights when new content is available. With other updates, a redesigned scores page with enhanced content is also available to update fans about all the action throughout the game, before, and after it.

Live streaming of the ESPN’s Monday Night Football package kicks off on Monday, September 12 with a double header featuring the New England Patriots visiting the Miami Dolphins and the Oakland Raiders visiting the Denver Broncos. The MNF package will be of 17 games, while the NFL RedZone, delivers every touchdown from every game on Sunday afternoons.

The NFL mobile app can be downloaded from the Verizon channel in Android Market or by calling **NFL. It is available for a range of Verizon wireless powered smartphones including the Motorola Droid 3 and Droid Pro.
