Skillz: The DJ Game

After a number of games being developed and released for the iPhone by various developers, Skillz: The DJ Game developed by Playpen Studios is all set for its release on Android devices. Around the same time, it is also expected to release for the iPad and Windows operating system.

Skillz: The DJ Game is a single player music game where players can mix and scratch songs to win points. The songs can be selected from a playlist of 25 dance tracks which include artists like People Under the Stairs, Kid Cudi vs. Crookers, Diplo, Tony Cook Ft. Dam Funk, Fedde Le Grand vs. Ida Corr, Mr Scruff, Bart B More, Roots Manuva, Amp Live, Nu:Tone, Bassnectar, Samantha James, Mexicans With Guns, and more. The game provides a virtual DJing experience to players on the screens of their mobile devices with swiping and scratching moves to remix songs.

The game allows competing with friends and players from all over the world on a global leaderboard. With OpenFeint integration, players can also unlock several achievements and new levels while going through different levels which may also increase the players’ fan base.

Skillz: The DJ Game by Playpen Studios is slated to release for Android users in summer 2011. With a demo video of this game on the iPad released already, users of this device can expect it to hit by September 8.
