Earlier this month, we had reported about the HTC Desire phone arriving in 3 stores. U.S. Cellular too had previously revealed that the HTC Desire would be coming soon for its customers. The carrier has now gone ahead and inked some more details about the HTC Desire Android-loving phone on its Facebook Wall.
The beauty-hugging phone is all geared up to incorporate a 3.7” AMOLED touchscreen display. The large screen is well complemented by a 5 megapixel camera that will come complete with LED flash. On the connectivity front Wi-Fi and GPS support are included.
Enabled for the Android Market, this enthusing phone will also house an 8GB microSD card according to U.S. Cellular. With a host of other exclusive updates to watch out for, the carrier shares that the phone is undergoing rigorous testing at its quarters presently.
Well, U.S. Cellular doesn’t stop at just giving a sneak peek into the specifications of this sweet phone. The company has also revealed its launch date. That’s right! The phone is slated for a July 2010 release.
So, while O2 has postponed the HTC Desire’s launch to mid-May, U.S. Cellular will be offering the phone in July. With practically all the niceties concerning this phone out of the bag, we wonder why the price has been left out.
