After the launch of the HTC Magic which sports a large 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, HTC is apparently going to announce 2 Android smartphones. According to Electronista, both of them – the HTC Hero and the HTC Lancaster – are said to be Android powered smartphones and are going to be unveiled on June 24. The video and photos of both these phones have already been leaked.
The HTC Hero will reportedly possess Rosie which is a new build of user interface. It is also said to arrive without a physical QWERTY keyboard which the HTC Lancaster will feature. The HTC Lancaster (AT&T) goes by the name of HTC Memphis as well. It will be the first Android smartphone for the AT&T network in US.
The HTC Hero, along with the Android-based platform, will also be armed with HTC’s in-house developed TouchFLO 3D user interface.
