In a bid to make the Twitter for BlackBerry app more interactive, the microblogging website has introduced certain new attributes to the application in question. The latest version with the recent updates that claims to keep users connected to people and things they care about, has been made available at the BlackBerry App World, reports the official Twitter blog.
The many improvements to the software include a simplified way of sharing web pages on Twitter from the browser itself. And users need not worry about keeping a track of characters any more, as the tweeted link will be shortened to utilize lesser characters. Also, subscribers will not have to wait back while the pictures are getting uploaded as Twitter now allows sharing them while writing tweets. And what’s more, the images can also be shared directly via the BlackBerry devices’ cameras.
And that’s certainly not all. The next set of enhancements may be preferred by social networking buffs as it now lets them link their Twitter accounts to BlackBerry Messenger. This will not only help users share their latest tweets as their BlackBerry Messenger Personal Message, but also facilitate accessing the Twitter accounts of friends via their BBM profiles. This 3.0 version of the application is compatible with devices running BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 or later.
The version 3.0 of the Twitter for BlackBerry app can now be downloaded from the BlackBerry App World. It is available for free.
