Truphone has updated its mobile VoIP application and has launched an upgraded version of Truphone 3.0 for the iPhone. The major highlights of this new version include improved account management and instant messaging experience, faster speed and a new standard for call quality.
The company also ensures ease of use, speed of function response, intuitiveness and simplicity in addition to improve voice call quality. The Truphone 3.0 boasts of an integrated messaging tool enabling users to manage all their IM communication from a single page within the application. This will eliminate the need of constantly switching between different applications or different pages. The IM services currently supported by Truphone include Skype, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger and Google Talk.

With the Truphone application, users can make free calls to other Truphone users, Skype and Google Talk users when they are in Wi-Fi. Moreover, users can also send free instant messages wherever Wi-Fi connectivity is available and these messages can be sent to users accessing communication platforms like Skype, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM.
Besides, it also helps in saving on calls to landlines and mobile phones around the world. Users can also enjoy these communication options where Wi-Fi connectivity is not available by using Truphone Anywhere for calls and 3G for instant messaging.
The improved account management feature lets users view call rates before making a call as well as display recent call history. Truphone users can top-up from within the application using credit card or PayPal.
