TripAdvisor iPhone app unveiled for better travel experience

Tripadvisor iPhone App

Here’s an app which will enable users to search for the cheapest airfares and apt travel information. TripAdvisor recently announced a new iPhone application ‘TripAdvisor’ that allows travelers to hunt for popular hotels, restaurants and attractions and more.

For a localized experience, the app is made available in 13 different languages across 20 countries across North America, Europe, South America and the Asia-Pacific region. Claiming to replace the previous Local Picks app, it allows users to send in their reviews when their experiences are still afresh.

Steve Kaufer, founder and CEO of TripAdvisor, commented “Our iPhone app gives people in 20 countries and 13 languages a new way to access the more than 35 million traveler reviews and opinions available on TripAdvisor. Now, travelers can find a great hotel, restaurant or attraction and book a cheap flight whether they’re at home or on the go.”

Users can use the new TripAdvisor iPhone application with a tap of a finger to sort hotels, restaurants and more by rating, distance and price. iPhone’s GPS capabilities are effectively used to help users search accurate travel information on the go.

Apart from popular hotels, restaurants, landmarks and attraction, users can utilize TripAdvisor Flights to find cheapest airfares. Users can access a comprehensive selection of choices of flights across popular travel agencies and airlines.

TripAdvisor’s app is now available for free at the App Store.
