After being launched for the iPhone and iPod touch, the Touchnote for iPad app was recently released through iTunes. Along with this introduction of the iPad compatible version, the existing app for the iPhone and iPod touch has also received some updates.

Apart from rubbing along nicely with the aforementioned Apple products, the software is available for Android devices as well. It lets users create, design, personalize, and send a card directly from within the app. The folks behind the application take care of printing and posting the card. Additionally, the photos used for the card get printed in full size on thick, glossy paper at 300dpi resolution.

“With Thanksgiving,Christmas and New Year fast approaching, we wanted to help customers take care of their holiday cards. Our new iPad app has tons of new features to print and send gorgeous cards, and we’re quietly confident that these cards will stay on your family and friends mantelpiece for a lot longer than the generic greeting cards of the past. Suffice to say we are incredibly proud to add this to the ever growing suite of Touchnote applications,” says Raam Thakrar, co-founder, Touchnote.

The Touchnote for iPad app can now be downloaded free of cost from the Apple App Store.
