Samsung Galaxy S3 Ting to go live on Sprint LTE network

Ting LTE Device

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Ting will operate on Sprint’s LTE network, thanks to an amicable partnership between the US MVNO and the network provider. Both the pebble blue and marble white smartphones will ship in 16GB and 32GB memory options, the pre-orders of which have already begun.

Just as a reminder, this Galaxy device shows off a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1280 x 720p resolution, on the front panel. A dual core chipset with 1.5GHz clock speeds rests beneath the hood to fuel all its operations. Adding considerable weight to the specs sheet is the 8MP snapper with HD video recording capability along with a front-facing sensor embedded on the phone’s exterior.

“It’s coming! On our recent trip to Sprint HQ, we got a lot accomplished. A lot of back-end stuff we’ll be sharing in the coming months. Most notable, at least in the near-term, is the Samsung Galaxy S3,” states a post on the official Ting blog.

Advertised as being ‘designed for humans,’ the smartphone has a generous set of intuitive attributes to boast of. Features such as S Voice, S Beam, Smart Stay, and Smart Alert are just some of them. It provides 64GB expandable storage to meet memory requirements. In terms of connectivity, it tags along the mobile hotspot feature which allows sharing of the network connection with up to 10 compatible devices.

The 16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 Ting price is chalked out at $529, while the 32GB variant can be picked up for $579. The shipments are expected to be delivered in 3 to 6 weeks. The device sells contract-free and it is available with a range of flexible data plans covering text, voice and data.
