TiltnTwist, Mobile game developer revealed the four motion-based gamed that will run on Windows Mobile platform. All the four games take advantage of GestureTek Mobile’s gesture recognition technology. The four mobile titles are-HyperHamster, Snowboarding, DropZone and DUI: The Long Drive Home.
GestureTrek Mobile is the world’s first and only software solution that allows the players to interact with their mobile phones using motion or gesture. The gesture controls the game on mobile phone in two fold. It recommends that the player must not care about the small buttons or the joysticks as it makes the user to play the game in an easier way. Motion control games are easy to switch since they add more fun while playing and also create less hassle as only hand or body gestures are required.
“TiltnTwist is greatly expanding the availability of gesture-controlled games from the iPhone to pretty much every type of mobile handset on the market,” said Robert Goodale, co-founder with Trev Huxley of TiltnTwist. “Every family member – regardless of age – can have fun with games controlled by hand and body movements rather than tiny buttons.”
HyperHamster: In this game the player has to help Captain Weevil, a small hamster and you have to control the ball rolling by using your hand gesture. In order to maneuver the hamster, the player must control the ball’s direction by moving the phone, drifting it left, right and all over to pass through each of the maps. You can also speed up or slow down with one motion and shake the phone to jump over the obstacles.
Snowboarding TNT: It is a popular winter sport game that boasts off its excellent 3D graphics and sound quality. In this game the player has to use simple navigations. Camera and gesture navigations guides player to perform many tricks and get through all the hurdles and obstacles on their way. As you speed up, you can increase your score and enjoy playing it.
DropZone: This game gives the player a thrilling experience through its amazing graphics and skydiving. To gain high points the player has to drop through balloons and hit certain ground points. This game will actually put your gaming skills to test. Camera controlled action makes the game very realistic and there are 10 air maps available. In short, this game will take you for a thrilling experience of skydiving.
DUI: The Long Drive Home: This game will make you learn a lesson while you play. In this game Humphrey, main character roams around the town where he cannot stop drinking and then has a real tough time to get back home. The player has to challenge the 10 phases that includes getting the keys into ignition, driving home safely and the most important is passing the sobriety test. The player has to really struggle a lot to gain high scores but its one of the funniest game.
The four title games will be priced $15 and will play over 80 mobile phones from LG, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and UT Starcom.
