TeleNav has recently publicized that the TeleNav GPS Navigator will be made available for the T-Mobile myTouch 3G.
The GPS Navigator on myTouch 3G features colorful 3D moving maps along with voice and on-screen turn-by-turn driving directions. It presents navigation both in landscape and portrait modes. T-Mobile’s myTouch 3G customers just need to press a button and utter the name of a business or the address, and the Navigator will provide directions.

Even if drivers miss a turn, they need not worry as the GPS system automatically re-routes them. The My Telenav feature facilitates users to preplan trips online by accessing their account. The navigation system presents a catalog of over 10 million businesses and services, including restaurants, hotels, shopping malls and movie theaters. It also features ratings and reviews of restaurants along with the phone numbers.
The Telenav navigation system examines each route and will practically search for known traffic congestion or incidents. The system also cautions users in case of traffics, both via audio and on-screen. It also facilitates users to search for another route to their location simply by pressing one button.
Users can also set daily traffic commute alerts. At user specified times, the Navigator will send an email alert with an outline of current known traffic conditions and delays for their routes, assisting them to avoid traffic congestion. The service also lists out updated gas price listings, enabling users to obtain the cheapest gas in their area or along the route. Further, it also provides location-based weather information. Apart from viewing current weather conditions, users can also witness five-day forecast for their current location or for any preferred location in the U.S.
