TCM Mobile announced that they intend to launch their novel dual band handset. The handset permits operability on both the TCM Mobile Cellular VoIP Network and on conventional GSM cellular networks, outside TCM’s coverage area. This handset marks the entry of TCM Mobile into the dual band segment.
“While our new handset is scheduled for release in two to three months, we can currently take any existing dual band handset available on the market and, together with its manufacturer, embed TCM’s revolutionary, patented software into it. This represents a significant opportunity for these manufacturers to grow sales of their own branded handsets in conjunction with the deployment of TCM’s Cellular VoIP network,” commented a TCM Mobile senior executive.
Currently dual band mobile phones, offer GSM cellular service as the default mode whereas Wi-Fi is an add-on feature which provides home or office enterprise environments. Conversely, TCM’s dual band mobile phone claims to be the first one offering Cellular VoIP service as the default one while GSM network can be used when outside TCM’s coverage area.
The company is enthusiastically carrying out discussions with prospective strategic associates to introduce the TCM Mobile network nationwide and in the international markets. The dual band handset empowers users to carry simply one device that offers uninterrupted coverage.
The handset is planned for release in the coming two to three months.
