Tata Indicom post-paid costomers get Global Data Roaming service

Tata Indicom logo Tata Teleservices and Communications has rolled out global data roaming service for mobile phone users via the Cyberpass. Best suited for frequent travelers, this service allows customers to access the internet across 160 counties with a single login id.

The post-paid customers using mobile phone, walky and data card can avail this service and browse the web. While on the go, they can select dial-up, broadband or Wi-Fi zones anywhere in the world to access the Internet. By simply entering the login id and password allotted by the Cyberpass, users can take full advantage of this service.

Pradeep Dwivedi, Senior Vice President-Marketing, Tata Teleservices Limited remarked, “This is a pioneering service introduced by Tata Indicom, another amongst the host of “firsts” offered to the customers. It brings together not only the comfort of a hassle–free and secure billing process, but also the calculations of the bill being in Indian Rupees in spite of international roaming. It further reduces the limitations of availing Tata Indicom services to enhance customer experience.”

Customers can enjoy uninterrupted web browsing experience with easy sending of large files and mail. The service facilitates simplified billing structure that allows them clarity about charges and rates especially when they are traveling. An uncomplicated registration process is required at the company and Cyberpass websites for users to activate this service.

He further stated, “We are delighted to partner with Tata Communications for extending its global data roaming services through CyberPass that allows a host of services like internet access, content access, net telephony, e-mail, etc. through one power packed account!”

After registration, for easy login across the world, the dialer needs to be downloaded from the website. The company offers extensive coverage to users by opting the suited service provider from the dropdown list while customers are on roaming at an overseas Wi-Fi zone. Global Roaming Usage can be viewed by visiting the ‘My Usage’ sub section in the Cyberpass website.

As an exclusive feature, the service can be access anywhere across the world but users will have to make the payment only in rupees.
