Those eagerly awaiting the LG BL40 Chocolate can now celebrate a little as this long candybar phone has recently been approved by the FCC, as reported by Unwired View. The official BL40 model number has been confirmed. However, the commercial name hasn’t been revealed yet.
The LG BL40 possesses a Cinema 21:9 resolution that will make watching movies a truly unique experience. It sports a candybar form factor and features the new S-Class user interface. The device additionally features 802.11 b/g WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth for easy transfer of files, FM transmitter for music on the go and 1000mAh Li-Ion battery.
The LG BL40 and its little brother, the LG BL42, will probably be announced at around the same time. However, the exact date of when this is going to happen is not known. The pricing details, too, are currently unavailable.
