T-Mobile Valentine’s Day Sale offers free 4G smartphones on February 11

To cash in on the popular festival of love that’s coming up next week, the T-Mobile Valentine’s Day Sale has been announced. Offering free 4G smartphones and select tablets, this promotion could be appealing to V-Day shoppers who happen to be looking up gifts for their loved ones.

With February 14 just around the corner, many OEMs and network carriers seem to have jumped onto the festival bandwagon in order to entice avid shoppers. For instance, take the recently announced pink Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone and the Nokia Lumia 800 Microsoft Store bundle. The T-Mobile one-day sale is scheduled to take place this coming Saturday.

John Clelland, senior vice president of marketing, T-Mobile USA, explained, “T-Mobile has a commitment to make the 4G experience affordable and accessible to everyone, so this sweet deal on smartphones and tablets is our Valentine’s gift to consumers. No matter where loved ones live, T-Mobile wants to bring them closer with unlimited talking, photo sharing, video chatting, texting, and more.”

The company states that all 4G-enabled smartphones will be available for free after a mail-in rebate that’s applicable when users sign up for a new two-year agreement on any qualifying Classic Plan or an Unlimited Value plan. Through this sale, the network carrier plans on offering a number of devices including, the Samsung Galaxy S II, BlackBerry Bold 9900, HTC Amaze 4G, Nokia Lumia 710, T-Mobile SpringBoard with Google, LG DoublePlay, HTC Wildfire S, T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide and BlackBerry Curve 9360 amongst many others.

Interested parties can drop in at any of the carrier’s participating retail stores across the U.S. for availing of the T-Mobile Valentine’s Day Sale, which is scheduled to be held on February 11.
