T-Mobile USA Motorola Cliq with Motoblur now available in stores

Motorola Cliq T-Mobile USA declared nationwide availability of the Motorola Cliq with Motoblur. The handset claims to be the first Android-powered device from Motorola to feature Motoblur. T-Mobile also announces the Motorola Cliq Challenge, a national contest to create the largest fan club on social networking site, Facebook.

Exclusively from T-Mobile USA, the handset offer a unique solution that manages activities like work emails and social messaging and brings them to the user’s homescreen. The user’s personal information including contacts, posts, messages and photos can be updated, streamed together and synced from websites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, and work and personal email. This information is presented in simple streams.

“Smartphones are fast becoming the primary way many consumers engage with social networking services, e-mail and the Web, which makes the Motorola Cliq with Motoblur the right phone at the right time,” said Travis Warren, director, product marketing, T-Mobile USA. “T-Mobile continues to expand upon its industry-leading lineup of Android smartphones for the holiday season with the launch of the Cliq, and we expect it to be very popular among our highly connected customers.”

T-Mobile today also launches the T-Mobile Motorola Cliq Challenge, a nationwide contest, to create the biggest Facebook fan club. Students can cast their votes at the Facebook website. The college or university with the most number of votes in its circle till November 30 will be awarded with a free music concert, featuring sensational rock band by Weezer.

Users can purchase the Motorola Cliq with Motoblur available at retail stores, partner locations and T-Mobile’s official website.
