Alcatel seems to have finally found a heavy-slinging U.S. network operator for their new feature phone going by the T-Mobile Sparq page up on the latter’s website. Featuring among the network carrier’s pre-paid range of mobile phones, the handset comes at a cost effective price, or so they say.

The Sparq is equipped with a regular keypad, a sliding QWERTY keyboard for users to easily send text messages as well as a VGA camera. It offers users talk time and standby time of up to 11 hours and 500 hours, respectively. Measuring 109mm x 51mm x 16.5mm in dimensions, this device lends support to Bluetooth connectivity and is incorporated with FM radio too.

Tipping the scale 109.2gms, this mobile phone operates on a 670mAh battery. It is accompanied by a hands-free stereo headset, an additional battery and a charger in the whole packaging. This seems to be a no frills phone as it features all the basic functionalities without fancy add ons and it could also appear quite budget-friendly to anyone looking out for a handset of its ilk. Possessing a music player, it is embedded with a microSD card slot for expanding the internal memory of 32MB.

The new T-Mobile phone is now available through authorized retail stores as well as online at t-mobile.com. The T-Mobile Sparq price reads at $79.99 on the tagattached to it and it is accompanied by an inevitable two-year customer contract.
