The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note is now official in the US, days after the smartphone received its ICS and Premium Suite upgrades in Canada. The carrier is all set to ship the handset with 4G, Android 4.0 and Samsung’s Premium Suite.

For a quick recap, the phone flaunts a generously proportioned HD Super AMOLED screen spanning through 5.3 inches. The much talked about Premium Suite basically provides access to applications optimized specifically for the device’s S Pen. In terms of connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi and is said to serve as a mobile hotspot for up to 5 handsets.

“In addition to larger screens, today customers demand more from their devices — from having safeguarded access to corporate email and other productivity features to being able to rely on a speedy network for streaming content. With the unique and highly innovative Galaxy Note in our lineup, we are even better equipped to help our customers strike the perfect balance as they juggle both professional and personal activities,” remarked Andrew Morrison, vice president, product management, T-Mobile USA.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor with 1.5GHz clock speeds operates under the hood. There’s an 8MP snapper embedded on the back panel for photography enthusiasts, while a front-facing 2MP imager stays in place for video conferencing. The primary camera lends support to HD video recording as well. On the software front, the South Korean manufacturer has thrown in a range of utilities like S Note, S Memo, Polaris Office and more.
