Sony Ericsson Equinox Phone

Just yesterday we reported about the two new price plans that T-Mobile will be offering. And today, Sony Ericsson announced that one of its stylish handset for this fall will be made available exclusively via T-Mobile. The new handset has been termed the Equinox and is believed to reflect individual style.

The highlight of the Equinox is its unique night pulsating feature that allows users to guess the caller in a flash. User can link a different night pulsating effect to up to five contacts. The handset also features custom lights like Amber, Sapphire, Beryl, Diamond, and Amethyst. The array of wall paper themes ensures that the handset is always color coordinated with the custom light.

“The Sony Ericsson Equinox phone echoes Sony Ericsson’s tradition of style, personalization and multimedia,” said Karen Morris, vice president of marketing, Sony Ericsson. “With a host of dynamic features that put the power of personality in your hands, it’s a stunning 3G phone that reflects the mood of each individual user.”

The 3.2 megapixel camera of this handset lets users shoot videos and directly upload them on to social networking sites like YouTube. The notable specifications of the Equinox include FM radio and support for Stereo Bluetooth and gesture control technologies.

The Sony Ericsson Equinox will be available exclusively via T-Mobile starting from October 28. The handset will be sold at select T-Mobile retail stores as well as online via T-Mobile’s official website. The pricing details are yet to be disclosed.
