T-Mobile myTouch 4G’s ROM leaked, said to be HTC Glacier

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Surprisingly the recent release of the T-Mobile myTouch HD has brought along several rumors pertaining to its successor. Even before the 3G variant could get a strong foothold in the market, its 4G brethren has begun making noise. According to AndroidGuys, the leaked ROM of the T-Mobile myTouch 4G has made its round in the web world.

The mobile terrain is abuzz with news about the T-Mobile’s own myTouch phone being an HTC Glacier. A phone-friendly teaser video in portrait has been sighted displaying key highlights such as HD camcorder, screen sharing, video chat, and the genius button. It is anticipated that the 4G is representing T-Mobile’s HSPA+ networks which have been positioned to offer 4G-like speeds.

Apparently the HTC Glacier is touted to be the first dual-core Android smartphone from the handset manufacturer. The ROM is a 311MB ZIP file which can be found at 911HTC. Titled as ‘For Glacier / US T-Mobile myTouch 4G’, it is also supposed to feature Yahoo Messenger with video calling abilities.

Not much is known about the HTC Glacier but it certainly appears to be a cool device. All the same we’ll keep our eyes and ears open to know if something like the Glacier exists.
