mophie Back in the month of September we had reported on the mophie juice pack air for iPhone 4. Now, the company has introduced its three new additions to its accessory portfolio including the juice pack universal reserve, boost and powerstation. These have been designed for the iPhone and proffer supplementary battery power to users’ Apple devices.

The reserve is portable and works with all the variants of the iPhone, just like the boost charger. With the LED flash, these charge units fashion a key chain to offer an easier means of carrying it around. On the other hand, the powerstation is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch, and the iPad.

“We strive to continuously offer our customers new and convenient ways to stay connected, and the universal line is a natural progression beyond our juice pack case offering,” said Susan Schedel, vice president of sales and marketing at mophie. “In addition to new ways to keep the iPhone and iPod touch charged, we’re excited to enter the iPad accessory territory.”

Significantly, powerful charging currents have been added to the products. Thus, enabling faster charging as both the reserve and boost provide one amp of power, while the mophie powerstation touts to offers 2.1 amps which amounts up to four times the speed of other traditional 500 mAh charger. This adds up to the reserve, boost and power station furnishing 1,000, 1,500 and 3,600 milliamps, respectively.

The design has been kept basic with the soft touch cases coming in a black/silver color combination. All of these will be retailing in Apple stores and online at apple.com or mophie.com. The reserve, boost and power station carry a price tag of £34, £49 and£89, respectively.
