T-Mobile customers can pre-order T-Mobile myTouch 3G with Google

myTouch 3G Smartphone T-Mobile USA has recently announced the start of its pre-sale program for current T-Mobile customers who want to be among the first to possess the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. T-Mobile customers can now order the myTouch 3G online and be the earliest to personalize the Android-powered device.

Those existing customers who wish to receive their myTouch 3G prior to the national retail launch should order the device during the pre-sale period from July 8-28. The official date for the smartphone to be available in stores nationwide is August 5.

The myTouch 3G possesses one-touch access to Google Search by voice, Google Maps with Street View, YouTube and Picasa, thanks to its partnership with Google. This device was designed by HTC and is not bulky. It possesses a full touchscreen and virtual keyboard.

“We’ve heard loud and clear from our customers that a deeper level of personalization matters to them,” stated Denny Marie Post, chief marketing officer, T-Mobile USA. “That is why we placed so much emphasis on breaking the mold with myTouch 3G: to provide customers with boundless ways to make their phone a true expression, and extension, of themselves.”

The entire theme of the smartphone can be cusotmized with new widgets, icons and wallpapers which can be added straight to the homescreen. Furthermore, Android market brags of a new application called AppPack in addition to thousands of other applications. Sherpa, imeem mobile and Movies by Flixster are some of the recommended applications and T-Mobile applications are myAccount, myFaves, HotSpot Locator and Visual Voicemail.

A range of accessories and pre-designed shell patterns will soon be available for the myTouch. Customers will also have the opportunity to design a unique shell using a dedicated website where they can upload a photo, graphic design or select text, shapes, icons or logos. This design is then custom-printed onto the shell and shipped.

Additionally, there will be many more accessories for the myTouch such as gel skins, device cases, wrist straps and covers. The myTouch can be further matched to suit customers’ unique lifestyles by providing five distinct accessory packs such as music bundle with portable speakers and fitness pack that includes a fitness belt and an arm band.

T-Mobile customers can currently pre-order the myTouch online in limited quantities. The device will be available online as well as throughout the nation in T-Mobile retail stores from August 5 for $199.99 with a two year agreement.
