T-Mobile brings in unlimited data, calling and texting plan for just $79.99

T-Mobile Logo Rumors about T-Mobile killing off its Even More Plus plan even before setting out seem to be rife in mobile terrain. But there’s really no official word and the launch of a new single-line unlimited plan only makes things more blurred. Yes, T-Mobile has unveiled an unlimited data, calling and texting plan for only $79.99. This lower-priced unlimited plan comes with no overage charges on its network.

According to T-Mobile, the newly flashed out plan helps users save up to $350 on an unlimited smartphone plan, in comparison to similar plans from AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. T-Mobile loyalists will continue receiving high-quality 4G experiences. The company’s latest offering empowers consumers to utilize mobile data on their smartphones without incurring any overage charges.

“Consumers today are looking for even more value and flexibility from their wireless plans,” commented John Clelland, senior vice president, marketing, T-Mobile USA. “While data plans for many of our competitors continue to be very expensive, T-Mobile is lowering the price of our unlimited plan and offering more options, making it easier than ever for customers to step up to a richer mobile data experience on our 4G network.”

Those exceeding 2GB of usage in a billing month will still have access to unlimited data at reduced speeds until their new billing cycle starts. Typically T-Mobile 4G smartphone customers can consume over 1GB of data per billing month. Along with its unlimited plan, T-Mobile has also let out several affordable entry-level data plans that start from $10 for 200MB per billing month.

The single-line unlimited plan can be availed for $79.99 per month, with an Even More plan and a two-year contract.
