With brands as big as Apple, there will always be scores of third-party manufacturers piggybacking on the success of the concerned product. iHome has now launched the iA63, an app-enhanced alarm clock FM radio stereo speaker and dock for Apple iPhone and iPod devices.
Based on its predecessor, the iA5, iHome’s iA63 provides owners with a wide variety of functions. It features a motorized rotating dock which can be employed as a handy stand to view movies and pictures in landscape mode. The unit enables users to conveniently charge their docked iPhone or iPod devices while engaging in music or video playback.
The speaker system also integrates an alarm clock functionality for enabling users to wake up to their favorite FM radio stations. It includes a full remote control that’s optimized for the system, rotating dock and audio menus. This newest entrant is also compatible with iHome+Sleep and iHome+Radio apps.
The iHome iA63 can be snapped up through the company’s online website or from their retail outlets for $99.99. iHome+Sleep and iHome+Radio apps are up for downloading via the iTunes App Store.
