Swipe and MTV have come together once again to launch a brand new Android tablet dubbed Slash 4X which, like most other gadgets from the companies, falls in the wallet-friendly category. You can pick it up from eBay as of now and it will be heading to other retailers in India including Croma and Vijay sales in February.
So here’s what the Slash gadget has in store for us. The compact slate’s 7-inch touchscreen can spurt out visuals in 1024 x 600p resolution and has a 0.3MP camera for facilitating video conferencing and capturing selfies. A 2MP snapper rests on the rear panel and lets you capture images as well as record videos.
The Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS takes care of its interface and maintains smooth transitions between applications, while a quad core processor sprinting at a speed of 1.3GHz is responsible for its multitasking properties. 1GB of RAM has been tossed into the mix as well and a 3000mAh battery keeps the device going for at least an entire day in between charges.
And if that’s not enough, you even get dual SIM card slots which naturally means that you can make voice calls using the gadget and even browse the web on 3G networks. It tips the scales at around 267 grams and packs in 4GB of onboard memory that can be expanded further by up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The Swipe MTV Slash 4X tablet will be available through stores across the nation from February 1 for Rs 9,999. As of now, it is up for grabs through eBay for Rs 8,990
