In tandem with the chilly winter season, the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch will soon be unleashed, dressed in a snowy white coat. This smartphone is expected to be available in white, besides the standard black design that it launched with earlier.

The functions and features of the upcoming, whitewashed mobile device remain the same as its black counterpart. Capable of operating on 4G as well as 3G networks, it is powered by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Samsung smartphone runs on a 1.2GHz dual core Exynos processor and offers 16GB of onboard memory which can be expanded up to 32GB through the microSD card slot.

The Epic 4G Touch comes embedded with a 2MP secondary camera and an 8MP main snapper by which users can capture videos in 1080p HD. This ivory colored handset boasts of a 4.52-inch 800 x 480p WVGA Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display. Furthermore, it is compatible with a number of connectivity options such as Bluetooth version 3.0, 3G or 4G mobile hotspot, WiMax 1xEV-DO Rev. A and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n supporting up to eight enabled devices.

The frosty white Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch will be available from January 8 across all Sprint stores in the U.S. as well as online at sprint.com for a price of $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade. Potential users would need to employ any of the carrier’s Sprint Everything Data plans along with a $10 premium Data add-on charge.
