Sprint is now live with Qchat across 14 new markets

Sprint Qchat PhonesBenefiting many more customers, Sprint expands the availability of its newly launched push to talk system Qchat across 14 additional US markets extending the total area coverage of the Sprint Qchat system to 54 markets.

The four Nextel Direct connect phones that are synonymous to the Qchat system, namely PRO-200 and PRO-700 by Sanyo, LX400 by LG and Z400 by Samsung, will now find abode in 14 new markets specifically in Minnesota, New Hampshire, Utah, East Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, Vermont, in Buffalo, Rochester, Central Upstate and East Upstate in New York, Phoenix in Arizona., Upper Central Valley in California and Norfolk in Va.

Offering great features like Direct Connect feature that allows existing Nextel Direct Connect subscribers a call connection time of less than one second, a single phone number for push to talk and voice calls, Call Alert, Group Connect and a Sprint Mobile Sync tool.

Sprint customers should expect the launch of a fifth phone by the end of 2008 with its availability across many markets and channels. With the Qchat covering such an extensive area, available in leading US metros, the optimum push to talk system is most likely to have an eminent preference on the list of Sprint subscribers.
