Samsung i900 Omnia reaches Germany in August

Samsung i900 GermanySamsung recently announced a summer release of its flagship SGH-i900 Omnia Windows Mobile Professional in Europe. Samsung Germany, further confirmed the arrival of the touchscreen phone in Germany, 6th August onwards carried distinctly by all four major carriers -Vodafone, O2, TMobile and E-Plus.

The ultra-useful, Samsung i900 Omnia is characterized by singleband UMTS 7.2 Mbps, quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR,GPS receiver, WiFi, FM Radio and a 5 megapixel face detecting camera. The device runs on a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional with an interactive Synaptic 3.2″ WQVGA display featuring touch screen haptics and vibrations.

With the carrier-subsidized price not available, the 8 GB version of the Samsung i900 Omnia is enormously priced at 649 Euro without a contract. To some extent, the price is a debatable issue for heavy business users unless the networks introduce a reduced tariff.
