Sprint HTC One and One X+ in India receive Android OTA updates

The HTC One running on Sprint’s network in the US has started receiving the Android 4.3 update from today onwards. And in India, the One X+ has been selected as the next device that will be bumped up to Android 4.2.2 after gadgets like the HTC Butterfly and One X welcomed the OTA upgrade.

Jason Mackenzie, the President of HTC America had tweeted earlier today that the update has started rolling out for Sprint’s version of the One. T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and AT&T are the other carriers who are currently selling the phone stateside, but he refrained from mentioning anything about the arrival of the OTA update on these service providers’ devices. We do not think it will take very long and the Android 4.3 update should be beamed on the said variants very soon.
