Sprint gears up to introduce industry-first at an event on February 7

Sprint Invite

When the CES was on in full swing, Verizon was busy readying its guest list for an upcoming event in New York. Subsequently, invites began rolling out and so did the speculations pertaining to the Verizon iPhone 4. Today, again a fresh set of invites are being doled out to several in the mobile terrain.

However, this time around it does not fashion any red branding, it has been delivered with the Sprint logo atop. Engadget reveals that the carrier has summoned tech enthusiasts for an event in New York on February 7, 2011. It intends to showcase that ‘the impossible is possible’ with an ‘industry first’ product.

David Blain a well known illusionist will also be present at the event. As for the actual product being debuted, there is nothing more than guesses and hearsays. One of which includes, talks pertaining to a Sprint variant of the iPhone 4. With almost a month left to go, patience is what we’ll need here (in tons) to wait for that day.
