Spracht shows off new Aura EQ headset

Spracht Aura EQ headsetAccessories today play quite an essential role in the life of the average mobile phone user. Taking Bluetooth headsets to new levels is a novel offering from Spracht. The company introduces the Aura EQ headset, the fourth in its product line-up. User customizable EQ and improved hearing Bluetooth are some of the highlights of the earset.

The innovative Bluetooth headset conveniently pairs to a cell phone for hands-free conversations. Sporting a distinct second mode for local enhanced hearing, the headset easily transforms into a Personal Sound Amplification Product (PSAP).

Users can take advanatage of the switching dual microphone focus point for normal cell phone calls. It can be focused on the mouth, or switch to distance and change the focus to three feet away. Voice is amplified and equalized thanks to the EQ enabling users to hear and participate in conversations even in noisy rooms.

Boasting of capacitive volume control, the outer chassis of the headset is the invisible volume control mechanism. Users simply need to rub their finger on the earpiece from back to front or front to back to raise/lower the volume level. Incorporated with an 8 Frequency Band Equalizer, users can adjust to personal hearing preferences for improved verbal recognition. Its also preset with 3 EQ settings.

Packaged with a high output amplifier, the headset adopts a 3 microphone DSP design. This fabrication uses 3 microphones namely one for Bluetooth cell phone conversations that are focused on the mouth, one for amplified local conversations which are centered in front of the user, and one that acts as the ambient noise filter.

Starting March 2010, the Aura EQ will hit stands for $99. The company also anticipates the introduction of live samples at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from January 7-10, 2010.
