Playing successor to the neo and the neo V, the Sony Xperia neo L is now up for pre-order in India via Flipkart. It was speculated to see an official launch in the country by the last week of July, along with the Xperia go.
This smartphone is the first Sony handset to arrive integrated with ICS. It comes loaded with the essential hardware components covering a 1GHz processor, a 5MP autofocus snapper and a 4-inch screen with a 854 × 480p resolution. Besides, there’s a front-facing VGA sensor for video conferencing.
The primary camera supports 720p HD video recording capability as well. Packing in 512MB RAM, the phone houses 1GB internal memory that can be expanded via a microSD card. Unlike most other Xperia devices, its glossy exterior sports a curvaceous form factor.
The integrated 1500mAh battery is expected to provide the juice for about 8 hours of talk time and approximately 575 hours of standby on 2G. On the software front, the handset tags along Sony’s xLoud audio technology for those pumped-up acoustics.
The product page lists 2 color choices of black and white for the smartphone. According to a post on NDTV Gadgets, the Xperia go has also hit availability status in the country via the retailer bearing a price tag of Rs. 18,999.
The Sony Xperia neo L price in India is revealed to be Rs. 18,499 at Flipkart. It can now be pre-ordered via the retailer’s website.
