The freshly released Sony Xperia GX and Xperia SX smartphones mark the company’s entry into the LTE network. Both the Android powered devices are targeted at audiences in Japan and extend the series of Xperia NX and Xperia acro HD phones already shipping in the country.

The first entrant, namely the Xperia GX, is fitted with a 4.6-inch Reality display that’s gets its fuel from the Mobile Bravia Engine for clarified visuals. A dual-core processor clocking in at a speed of 1.5GHz enables faster operations. Carrying about 16GB internal flash memory, it sports a 13MP snapper on its flip side that offers HD video recording. The handset ships with ICS onboard and is available in 2 color choices of white and black.

The Xperia SX is touted to be the lightest LTE-enabled phone as it tips the scales at just 95 grams. Its front panel is graced by a 3.7-inch Reality display and it features a dual-core processor like the former. The phone provides up to 8GB flash storage and is equipped with an 8MP sensor on the rear. Just like the GX, it will offer a delicious scoop of ICS in hues of black and white.
