Sony Honami Mini smartphone’s specifications leaked

A certain Sony Honami Mini codenamed Ray 3, which obviously is a compact model of the i1 Honami that has been doing the rounds of the web, has popped up and its specifications have been leaked. The rumor mills have been abuzz with speculations about the original Honami for a long time now, and we must say that the mini version appears exactly similar to its older sibling. But we don’t know how much truth this piece of news holds, seeing as there hasn’t been any official announcement.

Gforgames.com happened to come across a post on Esato forums, which revealed certain specs of the Honami Mini. Considering that it is the toned down model, it is most likely to come with a screen real estate that’s less than the original. The latter is said to flaunt a 5-inch display, while the former is speculated to have a Triluminos touchscreen that measures 4.3 inches diagonally. Also, the phone in question has a resolution of 720 pixels, as opposed to the i1 which renders 1080p visuals.

Those who are wondering about the camera of the Honami Mini, will be glad to know that the handset retains its sibling’s 20.7MP Sony G lens snapper. And as far as the internal system is concerned, it will carry out its work under the supervision of a 2.2GHz processor which is assisted by 2GB of RAM. Apart from these, another feature that’s common between the two gadgets is 16GB of onboard memory. The Mini is powered by a 2400mAh battery, whereas the i1 stays charged up with the help of a 3000mAh power pack.

We are expecting the Sony Honami Mini to be present at the IFA 2013 in Berlin, which is slated to serve as the launch platform for the Honami i1.
