Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 expected to hit UK stores by February 2010

Xperia X10 Handset The Xperia series of Sony Ericsson recently received an innovative addition in the form of the X10. The Sony Ericsson UK website now claims that the multimedia handset will be made available by February 2010.

The Sony Ericsson mobile phone is driven by the Android operating system. The touchscreen handset is equipped with 1GB of internal memory and rapid 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The X10 offers quick access to social media services and contacts by means of a rich graphical user interface.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is claimed to be the first Android handset that sports an 8 megapixel camera. Further, the handset’s camera is loaded with smile detection, touch focus and send to web capabilities. The X10 also incorporates a host of social media applications such as Mediascape and Timescape, enabling users to manage all communications in one place. It also assists users to browse conversations, check their tweets on Twitter or photos, emails and texts.

Apparently, the handset also allows users to access PlayNow and Android Market.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be made available in sensuous black from Q1 2010.
