Things have just got better, simpler, and easier for users with a Sony Ericsson piece in their little pocket. Sony Ericsson has just announced a new firware update for the Sony Ericsson Aino. The eye-popping Aino is a slider-phone with a 3-inch 240 x 432 resolution capacitive touchscreen. The new update is said to be the second major firmware update for the handset.

The newly rolled out update focuses on improved battery life while enhancing performance and stability. The software features three new themes, along with a new game, the Bubble Town 2. The Aino now lends support to MIME-type MPEG4-generic video codec. The WLAN and Bluetooth performance of the phone have also been enhanced.

With this release, Sony Ericsson users may now cotton to less glitches and smoother performance. In addition, the software ensures to put forth optimal performance and the latest enhancements. For those unfamiliar, the Aino features a cool 8.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth v2.1, 55MB of internal memory, and stereo speakers.
