Sony Ericsson picks Myriad Jbed Java Software for Xperia X2

Myriad Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 is now made more robust with the support of Myriad’s Jbed Java Software. Jbed has been seamlessly integrated with Windows Mobile on the Xperia X2, enabling Java applications to run like native apps, enriching the mobile experience.

With this integration, network operators and the developer community can now develop new applications and services in either native Windows or Java. Operators can now port existing Java apps without rewriting for Windows Mobile. The Xperia X2 is driven by Windows Mobile 6.5 Operating System and is inclusive of advanced email and multimedia capabilities.

With the handset’s improved touch interface and new 3D signature panel, users can now explore flexible desktop panels designed to categorize business, fun and communication features. The Myriad Jbed Advanced implementation delivers Java ME Virtual Machine, as confirmed by JbenchmarkPro.

This implementation brings both cost efficiency and swiftness to the Xperia X2 market.
