Avid sports fans are all set to have a new application designed for them on their iPhone. Dramatic applications rolls out a new app called ‘Fight Lights’ on the device.
This application enters the names of the users’ preferred team names. From the color picker offered, one can choose their uniform colors. Along with special effects, users can even flash their teams’ colors.
With this app, users can even depict their stadium or their school’s stands packed with fans flashing the colors of their favorite team. If a user wants their colors to shine, there are special effects options to fulfill that need. One can flash, wave or swirl and even adjust the pace at which the colors rotate. A timer comes with the app which enables the consumers to begin their ‘Fight Lights’ at the same time or at a particular moment in the game. The app can be applied to any sporting occasion at any school or league irrespective of the players’ ages and is not just for pro sports and college sports.
Dramatic Applications co-founder Margo Sadow, commented, “Sports fans are enthusiastic and passionate about their teams. It is with the strength of their support that we believe that we will be able to make a difference in so many organizations that can use some help during these tough economic times.”
Every month a proportion of sales would be offered to a different charitable organization. This is the means by which everybody who downloads Fight Lights can contribute to the society.
Co-founder Sarah Picot, remarked, “My husband is a retired, injured Marine, and have many friends who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. We want to show our support for them as a way to launch Fight Lights this month. Fighting to help those in need as we cheer on our teams will be wonderful for everyone.”
The first charitable organization to be given a proportion of sales would be the Combat Soldier’s Recovery Fund. This organization is said to provide 100% of the donations it obtains to gravely injured soldiers and their immediate families.
The pricing is currently not mentioned. The Fight Lights app can be downloaded from iTunes.
