The software upgrade delivers a new intuitive UI for touchscreen as well as widescreen formats allowing enhanced control of content from Slingbox equipped home TVs or DVRs. SlingPlayer Mobile 2.0’s important new features consist of an icon based UI, revamped program guide and DVR interface.

A thirty-day trial version of SlingPlayer Mobile 2.0 for Windows phones is available as a free download on the official Sling Media website, with the software’s purchase price being listed at $29.99.
