Skype releases its new 3.0 beta version for Windows Mobile phone users. This latest version includes series of features from the previous versions and also adds two new features, SMS and file transfer.
The new SMS feature enables a user to send text messages anywhere in the world via Wi-Fi and the cost for an SMS will be based on Skype’s ratings. Skype claims to offer the SMS feature at much lower rates compared to your service provider.
Skype’s new file transfer feature enables one to send and receive documents while on the go. You can also send personal or sensitive files to your friends and family as Skype claims to offer secure and confidential file transfers. It includes the standard Skype features like Sype-to-Skype calls and instant messaging service.
